Characterizing New Monarchs

New Monarchs were monarchs who ruled during the late fifteenth century and early sixteenth century, they were labeled "New Monarchs" because they unifies their nations, created a centralized government and were concerned with maintaining army, national pride and fostering trade and religious unity. <Tab/>Henry VIII was considered a New Monarch because he restored England from bankruptcy, by ruthless taxation. I believe he should also be considered a new monarch because of his attempts to reorganize the French economy and weaken the power of the French nobility. <Tab/>Thus, the new monarchs were considered new because following the religious and economic turmoil they tried their best to unify their country's by equalizing social classes, taxing nobles, reducing favoritism and pursuing religious uniformity.
