The renewed interest in classical learning is the "rebirth," or widely known as the Renaissance. It seemed as if it was a renewal of the human spirit because of the blooming curiosity and creativity. The forms of literature being made were about beautiful things, and they were daring, and passionate. fact that the speaker's in both stories are incredibly passionate about their feelings. In Marlowe's, the male speaker is passionate about this pleasurable loving desire for this one woman and in Raleigh's, the woman speaker is passionate about getting rid of this guy and giving an in depth explanation to him why he has no chance at all. These two pieces of work are a wonderful reflection of the Renaissance, they exploit passion and creativity.
