Sure there is the involuntary outpatient treatment, but as we were told, it is seldom invoked due to the rights of the mentally ill. Screw the rights; if a mentally ill person has a history of criminal activity, it should be implemented. There are only three options: hospitalization, outpatient treatment, and jail.
