Written for my Marriage & Intimacy Class this paper deals with a debate on whether the american family is in trouble or not due to ever changing ideals about just what a family entails. We were to read both sides of this debate out of our textbook, (authors for each side are discussed in the paper), and we were then to make an argument to supporrt each side, and finally make a further argument

just as good, if not better in some aspects, (some children raised in one-parent families seem to be stronger and more independent than their two-parent counterparts), than children raised in two-parent families.
Overall I believe that love is all that is truly required in either a one or two parent family, because where there is love there is faith and hope; and as 1 Corinthians 13 states "Faith, Hope, Love, but the greatest of these is Love."
