Today, more women are going to college and being successful, and the percent of men attending college is decreasing. However, women represent a large majority of students attending colleges with higher acceptance rates, lower faculty to student ratios, lower standardized test scores, and lower tuition.

discriminate against women. The educational gap between men and women may just be a sign of the change society is undergoing today. Women are becoming much more involved and many now considerate necessary to have a college education and stable job. Who is to say that this advancement is bad just because men are on the lower end of the effects? This change may benefit our society by establishing more equality between men and women.
