being pushed into the Colorado River. The smaller pieces of rock are slowly being pushed along the river, but the bigger pieces are staying in the river giving it resistance. The resistance is very important because of the fact that the stream must be turbulent for the suspension transportation witch leads to hydraulic action. This shows that there are many different weathering processes, but they are all important for the creation of the Grand Canyon.
