<Tab/>In both situations I found that saying the I-message was much more effective than playing the blame game with the crappy you-message. It is very useful, as you can turn a possible disaster into a positive situation. Using I-messages is a great way to communicate interpersonally and it makes things which seem bad turn into a great thing.
