Jack Kervorkian was born May 28, 1928 in a small suburb of Detroit Michigan. As he was growing up Kervorkian dreamed of training under Jack Graney to be a radio baseball broadcaster. commit suicide. Many of them were controversial; one of the debatable deaths was Thomas Youk. He died from lethal injection and videotape of his death was aired on CBS two months later. On November 25, 1998 Kervorkian was charged with second degree murder, assisted suicide, and delivery of a controlled substance in Youk's death. The assisted suicide charge was later dropped. After a long trial Kervorkian was sentenced to 10 to 25 years in prison, which he is appealing.
