Nature is beautiful, every aspect of it should be preserved and left to be observed by generations to come. But there are humans, who cannot appreciate the beauty of a living animal and wants to kill it. We destroy nature without remorse but on the other hand some of us take pleasure in murdering innocent animals. In the poem 'Mountain Lion' written by D. H. Lawrence, it explores this idea. This poem is very prosaic

room for him and a mountain lion." And how easily "we might spare a million or two of humans and never miss them". This shows Lawrence's attitude towards nature and man who destroys it for their own personal and selfish profits.
Lawrence believes that nature is invaluable, that it is much more valuable than the lives of millions of humans who does not appreciate what nature provides, who only care about themselves and their enjoyment.
