Lorenzo Ruiz

Lorenzo Ruiz was born in Binondo, Manila between the years of 1600 and 1610. His father was Chinese and his mother was a Filipino, just like him. His parents were Christian and he was baptized with the name of Lorenzo after a Martyr during the third century. His last name Ruiz was taken from the last name of his godfather.
