Supernatural in Macbeth

Witches, murder and ghosts are all key elements to Shakespeare's Macbeth. Although all of the supernatural does not have exactly the same role in the play, the main purposes of the supernatural are to attract the attention of the reader, to foreshadow future events and to show or manipulate the characteristics of an individual. This made everyone think that Macbeth was not feeling well and then suspicious of his actions. In conclusion, the supernatural caused Macbeth's character to change dramatically from a good loyal person to an evil murderer. If the play Macbeth did not have any supernatural it would be a boring and tiresome play.
