we made girls (and boys) consistently aware of how to prevent pregnancy, we would continue to lower the teenage pregnancy rate. Better education would also make those teens who do become parents better able to cope with the situation. Teen pregnancy should be treated as a disease that must be treated with education and improved knowledge. The consequences of teen pregnancy on our society are far too important to ignore.
