After evaluating the Canadian system extensively, it becomes apparent that this system works. The provinces, territories, and federal government have collectively manufactured a health care system favorable to most Canadians, and the piece of mind 'Medicare" creates is invaluable. In the upcoming years the U.S. may well explore the possibility of implanting a system mirroring that of Canada's, and if they do, it may be all for the better.
