The problem currently at hand is whether the death sentence is still a viable and ethically correct form of punishment. This is a very significant problem as life is held in such high regard. Correspondent video on Timothy McVeigh. I now believe that the death penalty is too severe punishment for a crime. Even though some atrocities are committed, human life is a valuable gift and should not be taken for granted. We must not abuse it and try to reform those members of the public who have chosen the wrong paths in life and it is of my opinion that imprisonment is a more suitable form of punishment.
