Julius Caesar was, probably, a central figure of the last years of Roman republic. He was great orator, politician and general. He always had to be the first and was totally ruthless in pursuit of his goals and ambitions. He was loved by a lot of Romans, especially by lower class, and a lot of people recognized him as a human god. I think that while conquering the new lands for the empire he would not have much time to actually rule. Overall I think that Caesar was a great man, but he didn't have to be a dictator. No person should have an absolute power, even person like Caesar.
