The Progressive Era

First of all, the progressive "movement" was NOT actaull a unified movement. It was a series of reforems taken by many different peole, organizations, governments, etc. over a significant period of time. The sources of progressive reform religious groups, muckrakers, and the Leftist political groups or socialists. The religious groups go form private charity to advocating public refor.
