The Significance of the Harlem Renaissance

Throughout American Literature there have been many genres of writing eras. The Harlem Renaissance was one of such genres of writing. The Harlem Renaissance was an African American cultural movement of the late 1800's and early 1900's that was centered in the Harlem neighborhood of New York City.
