The way the destruction of WW1 is shown in "The Wars."

In the novel "The Wars" by Timothy Findley it is clear that Mr. Findley describes the destruction of war through the disturbance in families, death of animals and the destruction of cities and towns. This comes up through out the whole novel. Primarily, the destruction of war is shown through the disturbance in families. The Ross's are quite affected by several events that happen in their life. …showed last 75 words of 1445 total…devastation of the First World War mainly through the disruptions in the Ross family, the death of animals and the destruction of towns and fields. He does this instead of using lots of numbers and figures to get his point across, which is that war is bad and that it is more than deaths of soldiers. I find the way that Timothy Findley shows the atrocities of war is unique and incomparable to another text.
