sociology cannot be studied as a science because you can not study human behaviour objectively as every individual is different and has different meanings and interpretations of different situations. However positivists completely disagree and believe sociology should be studied as a science as they see in-depth information as a false description of peoples behaviour, they believe that you can only discover how people behave by analysing the social structure in which their behaviour takes place.
