…showed last 75 words of 498 total…Huckleberry Finn is an obvious classic in American literature. It teaches life-long lessons to everybody, young and old. The language used was what it was really like in the day of Samuel Clemens. Clemens was never trying to offend anyone. He was only trying to tell a good story with important morals. Last time I checked, those were not two of the characteristics of a book that should be banned from a high school curriculum.
