Traditionally, Chinese women were limited to a relatively small role in society. Women inferiority to men was heavily stressed since the feudal days of China. Chinese women now are challenging men in their professions as well, including the ones that were traditionally dominated by men. They are slowly struggling from being an inferior role, into an important need for the growth of the society.
