Comparison of Sonnet 73 and Sonnet 116 by Wm. Shakespeare

In his Sonnet 73 and Sonnet 116, William Shakespeare
displays his vision of long lasting love. Nothing can
effect one who sincerely loves.
In Sonnet 73, Shakespeare uses figurative language,
objects, and personification to get his points across. He
compares himself to a grove of trees in early winter, "When
yellow leaves, or none, or few, do hang upon those boughs
which shake against the cold,...." These lines refer
